Default 1997 camry 3.0 V6 auto trans to manual

i have a 1997 toyota camry LE 3.0L V6 and its and auto but i want to switch that in for a manual. i have a 1mz-fe engine and i need a E153 transmission. does anyone have any information about where to get that transmission from? and what other parts i need too. like the ecu? axels? schifter cables-things like that. be as specific as possible please and if you know anyone i can talk to directly about buying parts from them would be great!

You can use the solara tranny. I think its a 6 speed not sure. of use the Celica Tranny. Depending on how torquie you want it. Are you planning on going boosted or just NA? Im currently Using the 93 MR2 Tranny with the LSD. Its longer gearing but im planning on going Supercharger later. I picked the longer gears because you can put down the torque with the 1mz just need the top end.

i will want the option of doing a boost so what tranny is better for that and longer shifts would be fine that doesnt really matter. so what one is better if i want to boost it?

I would go with the E153. That's the one im using and its really great. I dont know what else it comes from but mine is from the 93 MR2 with the LSD. Boosted you mean supercharged or turbo?
