Default Do it yourself help!

I have been told by the dealer that I need to blow out my air conditioner hose, as I have water on my passenger floor. Where is the hose to blow out? They said it could be behind the front wheel, that if it was, I would have to have it jacked up, or under the wiper something. They said it would be at least 1 1/2 hour labor. We have a compressor, so thought we could do it ourselves. Can anyone help me with this. We have a 2007 Camry. I would appreciate any help you may offer. Thanks!!

Patricia,
There is a hose that drains the condensation that is formed when you use your A/C system...just like in your house. I believe this is the hose your dealer is referring to.

I am not familiar with the 2007 model but the hose should be able to be seen from under the dashboard after the black cover is removed. I will take a look at my '93 camry and get back to you about possible location of this hose and ways to access it.

My wife's 2004 Tacoma is doing the same thing but she has floor mats that catches the water....good and bad thing. It doesn't let the water get to the carpet but it allows me to keep it low priority on my Honey-do-list.
I'll let you know in the next couple days.

This is not an uncommon problem. If you Email me I can send you a picture or location of the hose you are referring to.
