Hey, my friend is interested in buying a toyota solara. I know its not a camry, but I couldn't find any other forum for the solara. I figured some of you guys might have a clue.

Anyway, im a mechanic at a speed shop, and she wants me to go check out the car for her to make sure everything is all right. Im just wondering if there are any key things I should look for aside from basic stuff. What tends to go on these cars and and at how many miles (a general idea of course). I've never worked on a solara and I don't really know much about it or weak points of toyota motors+drivetrain so anything advice will help me a lot.

solara is a camry coupe.

uh....idk...my g/f's mom bought one and had a sludge problem, but it was a 2002 with 30k?
