Console shifter Light problem!

I have a 99 LE 4DR Auto 4Cyl.Well the problem is the part where u shift to drive(PRND2L)at night when I drive and my headlight are on it should light up but its not on. Is it a light bulb problem?

The oval console around the shifter arm may pull out to allow access.
