I anxious about bad fuel economy of my car;goes around 21 Miles/Gallon (7.5 KM/Litre) in the city. I have changed all the lubricants and Lube oil filter 5 months ago. The STP brand Patrol Booster liquid was not very beneficial. What are the things to check? Please advice me how to improve?

 

21 is not too bad for the V6.

Have you checked the plugs, air filter, etc?

 

Agree with Toyomoho, 21mpg for V6 city is great. There's nothing wrong with your car. Just keep up with regular maintenance.

 

-_- 21 in the city! That is probably higher than your original EPA average estamtes. My v6 is estimated at 19/27mpg and realistically i only get 17/26.

Your original EPA estmatesfor 89 camry v6 - which are measured under the same guidlines as mine - are: 19/24mpg
