tried lookin around for the euro or even ptehr aftermarket, I only found some clear ones and some "smoked" (blackout)lenses. The lenses were cheap, so if ur interested:

They'd prolly look good with what ur doin too.

yeah, since im going with the black and red theme, I dont think I want to black out the tail lights

True, well maybe you can find the red kit? Same as the smoked blackout only red. From what I can tell it doesnt interfere with your signals at all, I knew someone who had it on their civic. (what everything is seen on in my area)

my tail lights are already red (duh!). And I cant do anything red with the headlights (believe me I wanted to put red xenon's in there) cuz I will get pulled over in a heartbeat

Yea your tail lights are already red but dont they have teh amber turn signals and white reverse signals? The red kit makes it all one solid red, and still lets your amber turn signals show amber and white reverse show white. And for headlights you can get the eyelids and perhaps you have it there, I was in advance auto parts the other da and found a strobe kit that you can put into ur headlights that have a separate switch, so you dont have tem strobing when you drive, only when you want them on.

(the eyelids was an idea for you, the strobes were just cool :))

no, my turn signals are red in the back, the only thing not red is the back up lights.

Ohhhhh okay.I wish mine was like that, I have big amber rectangles on mine, I wanna get a red kit but idk where to find them for a 94.. I shall keep looking.

I need to tell you that Rvinyl.com dosent have the red-out kit for the camry (they only have them for Lexus), but im sure you can find red-out tinting pretty easily.

Yea probably, Im not sure tho if I'll be doin a red kit or black kit. I'm doin a black and blue theme, so im wondering if the red lights will kinda throw it off.

Your thoughts?

If you're goin black and blue, then stick with the black outs. Oh!, on ebay I found some turn signal markers for the front that are clear (without the amber square). They come with amber bulbs, but I also found some super bright white LED turn signal bulbs to replace them with (so they will blink bright white!).

i love the stock 05 camry taillights....i found a nice set of halo headlights i might get:D

Octapulse
05-07-2008, 08:25 PM
yeah, those halo's are friggin sweet! I wish I could get em for my 99

Oh yeaI hate my stock lights on the 94 I prolly will do a blackout. And you should definitely get the clear corners, I enjoy them, I was thinkin of goin with some blue corner bulbs (common around here)

i took out the white bulbs in the corners of my 05 camry...added some blue bulbs..added a pair of blue fogs in the lower grill area. Big pain the butt.

Next will be to switch the stock headlights out with the halos' and i found a nice led stock taillight that japan uses on there camrys .. Everything is a bit pricey too....:(

For now tho it will be all under the hood work..Its almost 100k Once the warranty is up its time for the real work to be done:D

I hear that bro but thats also pricey. Especially for me, not too much out there for my old 3g anymore. the 5sfe motor didnt get much toys from what I can see. I'd love to replace it with a 3sgte turbo, with a catback exhaust and a custom spectre intake.

I found out that those lense covers for the headlights dont actually replace the stock covers, but rather fit over them and adhease with double sided tape. since thats the case, I think I will still do it, but change to the smoked covers, then smoke tint the turn indicators and add a H4 HID conversion kit with 4300k white Xenons (so I dont loose any headlight strength from the smoked lenses). Does that sound like a plan?

here is the link for the HID conversion kit http://www.xtralights.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=241

I just found some HID conversion kits on ebay for about $90 after shipping, but they only havethem in 8000k. I think I might go for it anyway. They are waterproof and also straight plug n play kits.

Thats cool. I was lookin a while back at a blackhousing kit, its a whole new headlight assembly that has black reflectors on the inside, rather than the typical silver. The lens is completely clear, and it's all DOT and everything. It was a whole $125 and at the time I didnt have any money but I just started my new job so I think i will have to search for those again :)

Octapulse

yeah, they make that kinda **** for every year except my 99. Its like the aftermarket production took a break around Y2K and then resumed when all was clear

Stephy (my g/f) was laughing at that. What are the similar years in that generation? 97-01? I'll take a look for them, Im sure someone has something.

94camguy
05-15-2008, 09:35 PM
...Okay I just remembered its 97-99, then 00-01. Sry. I'll keep lookin tho. Shame you dont have an 00-01 tho, I found some more blackout jdm housings [sm=sorry.gif]

I appreciate your help, but ive looked high and low for that sh!t and they just dont make it for the 99. But if you do manage to find something . . .

94camguy
05-20-2008, 09:53 PM
Like i said, the 00-01 look pretty damn close to the 97-99 lights. I'd say at least give it a look and see if they'd fit. if not, go with a set of eyelids.

Yeah I was just checking out http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/00-01-CAMRY-CE-LE-XLE-JDM-BLACK-HALO-HEADLIGHTS-CORNER_W0QQitemZ310052098010QQcmdZViewItemwhich looked really tasty, but when it showed the backside, I see where the difference is between 99 and 00. The 99 has a wire with a plug (like a regular two/three prong plug) that comes straight from the bulb into a socket, whereas the 00-01 is doing some completely different sh!t. Maybe I can find someone who is talented enough to run a connection conversion on my car so i can cop those halos! Or it might be easier to just retro-fit the 99 style bulb (in a H4 8000k Xenon converson kit of course) to mount into the headlamp assy. That would be [sm=pimp.gif]

94camguy
05-21-2008, 07:21 PM
Hell yea I like the sound of that. Yea, I dont think the wiring should be that difficult, in the end the wires lead to the same base, you got the hot wire, the ground, etc. Shouldnt be impossible.
