I have heard many negative comments about 07 Camry. Transmission
problems, moulding falling off, etc. Anyone with an 07 Camry who can comment on this?

You will drive yourself insane reading all the crap people post,remember this is the internet land of the free and the nuts and freak show on the web. Forget that just shop for a good dealership with a rep to back them up and buy a car you want. If it has a bug or two have it fixed and enjoy a nice ride.

there you go.. the 07 camry is great! don't believe the crap out there.

Well my door molding fell off. at 2 months. I also have a rattle in the heater control area no one can seem to fix. Glad I ought the extra warranty!!!! Hopefully I wont need it.

These are the problems I have had on my 2007 4cyl camry LE. ALL WITHIN 1 YEAR!!!!

Steering rod replaced

both pillar airbag covers replaced

AC smells like mold really bad. Makes my nose/eyes water sometimes.

Battery leaked acid and had to be replaced. Acid leaked onto the engine cradle bracket and caused it to rust bad and had to be replaced.

Back shocks make clicking noise

Lots of rattles in dash

Left read door panel replaced due to crack

Transmission programmed twice for shifting issues and had to be topped up. Dealer blamed the Factory.

Wow, that's a lot to go wrong with a toyota. Did you buy it new or used? I am on my 6th toyota and I don't plan to ever drive anything except toyota. I did buy a used toyota camry once that had a lot of noise/rattles in the dash. I later found out it had been in an accident and all four driver's side panels had been replaced (before I purchased it). However, it was still a great car and in perfect running order when I traded it for my Toyota Solara SLE convertible. I have only sold/traded one toyota due to problems... and that problem was a wreck...not mechanical. (Car vs Trees & Trees won). All other times I just wanted a newer ride.

The main reason I stick with toyota is to avoid the shop time. Before my first toyota I thought it was normal for a car to be in the shop every now & then. Boy, was I wrong. I hate to hear you have had such trouble with yours. I guess there has to be a bad one every now and then. Please don't feel that all toyota's are bad... they're not!
