Default Lighting

Ive been looking around at light bulbs and all i can seem to find is ice blue bulbs. Im wondering if there the same as the bulbs found on the newer nissan ultimas maximas. At night they light up blue purplish. Anyone know what these are called? Are they super white? ice blue? Im just wondering if anyone has this info. Id hate to by 20-30$ in light bulbs to find out there not exactly legal or the ones i want....

if ur looking for show bulbs u can almost just buy any 'blue' bulbs u find on the market. they wont last as long as normal bulbs but u can find em for cheap.

just know that bulbs any whiter or bluer than silverstar bulbs will simply reduce visibility.

for safety reasons you should always stay within the 4-5K temp ratings. what you seek is in the 6-7K temps.

small edit...it seems that ebay type bulbs consider 8K as blue. i think i used to have some 7K bulbs and i thot those were pretty blue and already had crap lighting levels.

^^x2 plus i'm wondering if you're talking about HID lights because the color you're probably seeing is the projector cut off...

the new Silverstar ultras...although pricy unless u can find a good coupon somehwere....are nice and are supposed to be longer lasting than the originals. I got a pair for our HL and they're nice. A friend got some for his integra too. I currently still run the old silverstars and they havent burned out in 2 years, granted i dont use my headlights all too often.

pretty much silverstars are going to be easiest to find and perhaps the best bang for your buck.
