I am trying to replace the radio in my '05 Camry. Can someone tell me how to get the old unit out? Is there any tricks (or I tocha's involved in replacing it)?

ive read this guys page and he has a decent tutorial of taking out the headunit, as well as setting up a sound system in a Gen 5 camry. i hope this will give you an idea of what you need to do. good luck.

pop the ac control panel off first by using a flat head screwdriver. pull that out and unplug each one. next there should be 4 bolts holding the stock radio in place so u will nead a rachet set for this with an extender. after that unhook the plugs for the radio go to any audio shop or best buy or something that like that they make an actual adapter for aftermarket radios so u splice the harness for the radio to the adapter and the adapter plugs into ur stock plugs so u dont even have the mess with the stock wiring. hope this helps you out bro. i also have an 05 and have done alot of audio work so hit me up if you need anything
