Hi .. Am not so sure if this is a problem or not ... when I shift into the Reverse gear in my 1997 2.2L Camry I feel a like a bump or a kick in the car ... I asked my friend whom I boghut the car from & he said that this was since they got the car from the showroom back in 1997 !!!

Is that normal or am facing a problem in my gear box [&:]??

Advice me Plz.

hard to tell if its normal with out acuatly test driving it myself..but if it feels like going over and bump,,,,a speed bump...them its not normal..possible cause... transmission line pressure to high..sticking or misadjusted tranmission throttle calble..loose or worn motor mounts..engine idle my be toohigh..good luck
